Easy Ramadan Meal Ideas
Here are some simple meals to make if you don't feel like cooking a large amount of food and you want some thing quick and easy.
- Paninis

- Freezer food- pizza, chips, fish etc

- Pre-marinated chicken
It is always handy to have some marinated meat in the freezer so you can thrown it in the oven along with some freezer chips.

- Pasta - e.g tomato pasta, tuna pasta, macaroni, spaghetti etc

- Stir fry noodles
With some store brought noodles and soy sauce, throw these into a pan along with some veg- also could be store brought (pre-cut and ready) and cook together with some spices.

- Egg and toast- scrambled, fried, poached etc

- Toasties
You can make this even without a toastie machine- just use your toaster. you could put whatever you want inside e.g. cheese, chicken, mince etc

- One pot curry
This is a quick version on any curry- just put everything in the pot and let it cook together.

- Stir fry rice
Super simple-Boil some rice (or if you have some leftover rice), separately fry up some vegetables (onions, pepper, spring onions etc) and add the rice. then add spices and a tin of kidney beans- this gives it the flavor (add the chilli sauce as well) and if you want add sweetcorn. Done..

- Bagels
Pizza bagels are so easy. Just cut bagels in half, spread on tomato sauce or puree, add cheese and any chopped veg or meat you want. Then add salt, pepper and a drizzle of oil and finally cook for a few min in the oven or grill.

- Burgers
Ready made baps, cheese slice, salad and meat (this could be a kebab or fillet etc from the freezer).

- Wraps

- Omelette or frittata

- Cous cous

- Veg curry
This is the easier type of curry and you can use any vegetable you have at home.

- Fish burgers
Ready made burger baps, salad, tartar sauce and fish fingers... Done-super quick

- Sandwiches

- Quesadillas
Heat up a tortilla on a frying pan with oil, add your toppings, let it heat through, fold over and enjoy.

- Jacket potatoes
This is easy just cook the potatoes-in the oven or microwave- and add beans and cheese (or whatever toppings you want)

- Quiche

- Chilli con carne
This can be made in one pot and there are many simple recipes online
